Rwanda by creation. Kenya by circumstance. Norway by chance. UK by choice. @BBCWorldservice. Former home @BBCAfrica. @UN Youth Delegate. Clapbacks/views - me 😉
When do we call what we are seeing happen for what it really is? Or we are just ignoring it, “nothing to see here” despite what we are seeing with our own eyes?
Sure, Jan 👀
We need everyone’s fit for departure/arrival to the #WorldCup, too much drip we are risking of missing out on 🤣
Ivorians 🥰 what do you mean you have the colours of your flag reflected in clothes 𝗔𝗡𝗗 luggage! Come on now!
Don’t get me started on blazers’ back 🙆🏾♀️

“Erling looks great with his hair down, but I wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of the coach Stale Solbakken. He’s a tough guy.”
Norway have released an iconic 'Viking' image ahead of their trip to the World Cup.
@GregOK speaks to photographer David Yarrow about how it came about.

Halloien @jonasgahrstore. Ett lite spm, er du snill 😆 hva er dine tanker om donuts? Denne godbiten er fra den populære tegneserien Donut Squad (i magasinet Phoenix). Takk på forhånd ☺️
The mother of all cons (title of the new iPlayer docu series) blew my mind 🫣 and I knew the story from the Believe in magic podcast from a few years back. If you can, find it and watch it. If you can’t (sorry about that), look for the podcast and then read up on the story 🤯
BBC gets loads of flak but it really does bring us so much. Believe in magic as a podcast a few years ago was elite, and now settling in for a 3-part docu series on iPlayer (one of the most slept on streamers if you ask me. Treasure trove if you are keen 😆)
“For those of us with African roots, Arsenal represented something larger - a club that embraced African players before much of Europe bothered to scout continent seriously. A club that sent players to AFCON”
Mamdani’s beautiful tribute to his Arsenal

Okay. So it was funny and wildly so. In parts. But then you get to the end and you see what a bloody gut wrenching saga this ended up being for so so many talented Black players. Certain people in this docu 👀 (ntacyo mvuze)
I’m sorry @netflix, but we needed the 2010 French team World Cup docu in cinemas 😳 I’m dying here reliving that wild era 🤣
By 5th minute, we are on a ride (we aren’t on the infamous bus yet 😂)
By 8th, absolutely floored because what do you mean astrology 😂
I’m locked in 💃🏾
With this logic, Ms White, shall the English FA sack the current coach? Or ancestry of team’s coach doesn’t matter in your eyes?
By the way… this is a legit and genuine question
Honestly. It must be old age because why am I here feeling a way about all these other (non entity) clubs 😂
Salah! Bow out with head held high and know you touched us all (yes, even the fiercest rival club fan can admit to God’s truth)
To make my IG story clear. It's not a dig of any sort! I'm a MU supporter, and that remains. I was showing gratitude to the clubs and coaches that I have worked with over the past 18 months, they have played a big role in this 🏴 call up.
People will always find fault and space to criticise. Obtuse and lack of comprehension is par for the game these days. Do you, Rashy. You owe no one any explanation and congrats on yet another call up for your country. Big up, young man!
