@PatTheDesigner Arm talent is not the only thing that makes a QB. Also see what's occurring on the sidelines and the locker room this year. That's on your "captain" QB too.
I am proud to introduce the O.H.I.O Sportsmanship Act to make flag planting at midfield a felony in the state of Ohio.
Behavior that incites violent brawls and puts our law enforcement officers in danger has no place on the football field.
Yes, JF didn't possess perfect arm talent....but the Bears obviously stood to lose more with CW than they had to gain. Leadership, continuity (which they valued in Flus?!) and an identity. Maybe Poles should have looked at another QB or two.
It seems as if trading Justin did create a rift in the locker room. Players were told things would be drastically different with CW at the helm and things have not been. Caleb doesn’t deserve this as a rookie and the players don’t either. Just a horrible organization in the Bears.
The Bears do have a double-tap opportunity coming here, as they get the ball to start the second half.
(Last week in this situation, they got a field goal, gave up a 53-yard TD run, and then went three-and-out to open the second half)
