Running for the emergency exit.

Many folks complaining it's too complicated had no problems setting up the jazziest Myspace backgrounds.
I just read this first:

➡️ Inflation down
➡️ Employment up
➡️ Fastest growth in the G7
That was Labour’s real economic inheritance, but @RachelReevesMP still wants to raise your taxes.
"We're providing a great service by ripping off those unaware of the value of the stuff their selling" is an appalling business model. Just end this now, or face the inevitable ceremonial burning of tote bags.
Please note! We appreciate this service won't be suitable for everyone's needs i.e. those seeking to maximise collectible items. However for anyone looking to trade casually for a quick turn-around i.e. to make space, then this could well be a great solution.
@gordon_struth I couldn't agree more about it being unfair. Now the reality of FPTP is affecting (current or previous) supporters of both 'main' parties, perhaps we'll see a broader movement to @electoralreform ?
@RobertH1796 @BritainElects@Survation 5 of the 6 GEs this century have seen "majority" government with under 44% of the vote share. The only difference this time is it'll pummel the Tories. I suspect they'll finally start arguing for electoral reform!
@reading_greens Thanks formthe reply, just want to find some information about the candidate for our constituency and Thier policy positions, so I can make an informed choice. Have you made the selection yet? The weblink shows a 404 error at the top of the page.
@reading_greens any news on your candidate for Reading Central? I've seen retweets of other areas, but little on local stuff. Also, the link on your bio doesn't work. Appreciate you may be short on resources, but this stuff is easy to fix!
@Shaun_H Goodness, that's a Proustian rush! Could it have been at the Music Box? They had a lot of that kind of stuff. Your memory of that period is probably better than mine!
@getpeid I was seriously considering the Nothing phone 2, really impressed by the unified form and function, but then I checked the dimensions...
Will you make a device that fits in a pocket and that won't jab me in the stomach when I sit down?
@michelledonelan ...then why did we leave it in the first place? So much time and effort expended on getting us back to where we should have remained. You gaslighting simpleton.
@KidicalMassRead@readingcycle Yes, lovely and quiet on Belmont Road at the moment! 20mph would make sense, but I doubt it would change behaviour of those already speeding through a residential area with a school in it. The only real solution is to reduce through traffic.
@ReadingCouncil loving the ad-hoc LTN trial on Albany Road! Deliveries can access (reversing down), space to turn at the end, no cars idling outside homes or speeding through. Can we make this permanent, block off Occy Rd end with some planters?

@BestForBritain@DavidLammy The Tories have moved from fucking things up by appointing immoral people with no experience, to appointing immoral people with really solid experience of fucking things up at a global level.
Sinking so far into an ideological sewer that you think attacking the homeless is anything other than inhuman is a "lifestyle choice". Fundamentally evil.
The British people are compassionate. We will always support those who are genuinely homeless. But we cannot allow our streets to be taken over by rows of tents occupied by people, many of them from abroad, living on the streets as a lifestyle choice. 1/4
@SarahHacker_rdg @nuge_86 @ReadingCouncil Thank you for taking the time to do this Sarah, really appreciate it. Understand that this is hypothetical, but happy to provide some residents perspective if needed.

@ReadingClowncil Go back and read your comment and consider how you'd feel if I'd made an uninvited comment like that on a post about how nice your road felt that day. You've been doing this so long, you've become detached from the impact of your words.
@ReadingClowncil I don't disagree with you on the litter problem, I raise this as often as I can, but you have shifted the conversation away from your original post: A simple apology for slurring my neighbours and I would be welcome and we can all get back to focusing on bins.
