@SabrinaEgamboa Teaching, like life, is all about confidence. If the students sense you’re afraid or timid, they will run the classroom regardless of the amount of rules. Even if you aren’t confident, you can still fake it until you develop confidence as a new teacher.

Less rigid and more student centered. Kids can not dictate what happens in the classroom, but I will allow them to influence the way things are ran and done to an extent #ci149

One problem I see is that some people view tech as the ‘steak’ instead of the ‘sizzle’. Overusing the same tech will lead to Ss resenting it. Sprinkle it in, because there’s nothing wrong with a lecture as long as it’s engaging #ci149

@GabbyGoomez Using the same piece of tech for the same activity become substitution. Each tech should be sprinkled in throughout the semester.

A7: we used GBL in my HS history class for trivia on current events. We use group work in this class, but collaborative learning does not occur IMO. #ci149

A6: Yes. Multiple ways to complete assignments in groups. And I think it works in almost every class. Alternative classes, like PE and electives, May be more difficult but could be done #ci149
