Unemployment hits differently when you’re a man. Family treats you differently. People lose respect for you. Nobody cares about you and what you say. Family is only nice when you have something to offer. Get up every day and fix your life. The world is very cruel to a poor man.
Look at this Superpower.
The US President feels so secure that he brings missile defense to a golf course.
If an Iranian official did the same, Trump @POTUS would tweet: “I made them so terrified they even fear golf balls! They even bring missiles to play golf. They’re weak. They’re terrified. We destroyed them.”
Double standards much?
Meanwhile, our Supreme Leader was martyred at his workplace with no bunker, no missile shield, no escape.
This is why we say: There’s a world of difference between us and US (uppercase/lowercase matters)

Murtala was a baby war criminal. His biggest crime was the Asaba massacre during the civil war where he ordered the murder of about 700 innocent people.
Henry Kissinger, who ordered Murtala's assassination was a real war criminal who was responsible for literally tens of millions of deaths across Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Latin America, and he lived a long and happy life. Despite being many prders of magnitude worse than the worst version of Murtala, he died just 3 years ago at age 100 surrounded by his children and grandchildren, with the genocidal American war machine he built still busy industrially murdering black and brown people all over the world.
So I'm no longer interested in any sermons about whatever Murtala Mohammed did wrong. The world clearly doesn't run on morality tales and if Africans are willing to give grace to the likes of Kissinger, Obama, Bush, Biden etc, then I can definitely give grace to Murtala Mohammed. He was a far smaller sinner than any of the other names.

On this day in 1961, the US started spraying Agent Orange in a campaign called “Operation Ranch Hand,” which would last 10 years. The intention was to kill as much plant life as possible to deny the Viet Kong access to food and cover. Hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese died and millions got cancer.
The use of Agent Orange left residue in the soil that to this day still results in an increase of bizarre birth defects and mutations.
Agent Orange was developed and deployed without testing to understand it's long term effects, to either the citizens or the environment.

Peter obi being a a humble billionaire is good as it portrays a good human to emulate but it’s not enough to lead Nigeria to sovereignty. Nigeria don’t need that ‘good guy’ type of presidency we need a leader with balls that will oppose the west on all front like capt traore
Some people call it arrogance; I call it knowing your lane without needing to block someone else’s road.
Not every attraction is a good match, and not every mismatch is an insult. You can admire someone, respect their achievements, and still recognize that your lifestyles, ambitions, values, or social circles may not align.
The real wisdom is knowing what you bring to the table and having enough self-awareness to understand what kind of table you actually belong at.
Exceptions will always exist. They’re exceptions precisely because they aren’t the rule.
The goal isn’t to rank people. It’s to know yourself well enough to stop forcing mismatched equations and calling the resulting confusion love.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 President Trump secretly flew out of Turkey on military plane last month due to credible Iranian assassination threat, despite publicly stating he was on Air Force One, WaPo reports.
Even journalists onboard Air Force One thought he was on the same flight.
Trump first boarded AF1 in front of cameras. He then exited through a door on the opposite side of the plane into an airport catering truck and was transported to a C-32A.
