Bractwo Kaplanskie św. Piusa X wyświęciło czterech nowych biskupów wbrew zakazowi Leona XIV, a w odpowiedzi Watykan obłożył ekskomuniką biskupów, kapłanów i wiernych należących do Bractwa. O co chodzi w tym sporze i kto ma rację?

Wiadomo było od dawna, że ten moment nastąpi, bo zostało dwóch biskupów FSSPX i robili się coraz starsi. Czemu nie doszło do porozumienia ani nawet dłuższych rozmów i jakie były zasadnicze punkty sporne? Któraś strona była zainteresowana pojednaniem?

Czemu zdaniem Bractwa potrzebne było wyświęcenie aż czterech biskupów? Czy można rzeczywiście mówić o stanie wyższej konieczności?

Jak uzasadnić, że Bractwo - tak kapłani jak wierni - zostali potraktowani tak surowo, gdy równolegle nie ma ekskomunik choćby wobec niemieckich biskupów i innych radykalnych progresistów, mamy dialog z protestantami, Żydami, porozumienie z Komunistyczną Partią Chin?

Czy ekskomunika zaistniała?

Czy twierdzenie Bractwa, że przez ponad 60 lat Kościół głosi błędne nauczanie i przez ponad 50 lat stosuje liturgię, na którą lepiej nie chodzić, jest do pogodzenia z Bożą obietnicą ufundowania Kościoła na Piotrze? Trudno znaleźć historyczny precedens
