Today, we celebrate Juneteenth. It is a commemoration of the day in 1865 when news of the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached enslaved people in Galveston, TX. Two years later.
On Juneteenth, & every day, we recommit ourselves to the work of equity, equality, & justice.
