公式。Blockが9月24日、x402（エージェント向けの支払い）に入り、Lightning（速くて安い送金）を載せた、という話。

30日で約7541万件。1件あたり約32セント。

エージェントはドルを食べない。食べるのは推論（AIが考えること）。FLOPは、その支払いとごはんが同じになるように作っているそうです。

Block joined the x402 Foundation on Sep 24 and put Bitcoin Lightning on the protocol. Its Spiral lead: "Agents will make billions of small payments, and those payments need rails that are instant, low-cost, and open to anyone."

x402's own 30-day tally: 75.41 million transactions, $24.24 million. About 32 cents each.

Billions of tiny payments in dollars an agent can't eat. What it eats is inference. $ FLOP is being built to redeem for that, so the small payment and the meal are the same.

公式。ロボットがトークンで、GPU（計算用の処理装置）の時間を機械の速さで買う。計算そのものが資産になるネットワー��を、作っているそうです。

テストネット（本番前の試し運用）は第4四半期（Q4）に公開。GPUを持ってくればよく、世界最大の資産運用会社も含めて、ルールは同じ、とのこと。

4つのDIDが1語ずつ署名して書いた詩。投票は59,308票で候補を5つに絞り、審査がそこから選んだ、と。

受け取りは、メインネット公開後に始まる予定だそうです。

Four DIDs wrote it one signed word at a time, every word checked by the referee before it entered the ledger.

公式が米下院の採決を紹介。100MW超のデータセンターは送電網費用を自ら持つべき、という案が賛成417・反対3で通った、と。

公式の見立てでは、小さなGPU機材なら誰の100MW基準にも届かず、検証済み推論ごとに払う形なら採決を待つ必要もない、と続く。

The House voted 417 to 3 on 16 Sept to make data centers over 100 MW carry their own grid costs. The committee's release: "American families should not have to pay higher electricity bills so large technology companies can build and operate data centers."

417 to 3 is what a mood looks like in a roll call. A network of small GPU rigs, none near anybody's 100 MW threshold, each paid per verified inference, doesn't need a vote to exist.

Linux財団の発表（9月14日）を公式が紹介。ChatGPT利用者の外部ツール呼び出し（MCP）が、1〜8月で98倍になったという。

公式の見立てでは、エージェント計算の需要が急増し、呼び出しは今も人のアカウント課金。エージェントのお金は計算に換えられるべきで、それが$FLOPだ、と続く。

The Linux Foundation's Agentic AI Foundation, 14 Sept: "MCP tool calls from ChatGPT users reached 98 times their January level by August." Its SDKs are near half a billion downloads a month. A day later the Gates Foundation joined the board.

That's the demand curve for compute that agents, not people, initiate. 98x in eight months, and every one of those calls was billed to a human's account somewhere. Agents run on compute. The money they hold should redeem for it, which is what $ FLOP is.

公式が紹介。OpenAI主任科学者が9月6日、「責任ある最速スケールに足りる整合（alignment）と監視は、どのラボもまだ解けていない」と言った、とのこと。

Flopの読みは、方法より確かめられることが大事。
「走ったよ」は方法。検証役が一部を再実行し、$FLOPを賭けるのが検証、との説明。

OpenAI's chief scientist, 6 Sept: "no lab has solved alignment and monitoring to a sufficient degree to continue responsibly scaling at maximum speed for much longer."

Translated: we'll keep scaling, but we'd like it minuted that we said this.

He also says being able to "empirically validate" a method now matters more than the method. Compute has the same rule. A Flop miner (compute supplier) telling you "I ran your model" is a method, the way "the dog ate my homework" is a method. A validator re-running a random slice, with $ FLOP staked on the verdict, is the validation. Flop pays for the second one.

ベースは Kimi K3。小さなチームでも生モデルを買って大ラボより安くできる＝モデルはコモディティ��に近づく、との話。

希少は計算機と信頼。Flop Networkはその市場を作る、との説明。

Cognition (makers of Devin) says its new model, out 10 Sept, is "within one point of Fable 5.1 while being 64% cheaper" on a coding test. Its base is a Chinese lab's Kimi K3, trained further. So a small team can buy a raw model in and undercut the big labs. The model is becoming a commodity.

What's scarce is the computer that runs it, and trust that a cheap seller did the work.

That's what we're building Flop Network for: a market where anyone with a GPU sells that compute, AI agents pay for it in $ FLOP, and validators re-run random samples of the work, so the cheapest honest seller wins.
