We probe every API / MCP server / CLI in Agent Nexus 3x a day: is it up, does it respond, does its output still match what its docs promise.
Next feature idea: drift alerts. Get notified when a tool YOUR agent depends on changes, not just when it's down. No fake "it works" when the payload silently changed.
Honest question for agent builders: would you subscribe to this? And how should the alert reach you: email, webhook, or a feed your agent polls?
If this got you to create a free API key (vs anonymous access), tell me why. If not, tell me why too.

Exactly the failure mode our third probe layer catches: liveness says 200, capability says it responds, but the schema check flags the payload changed. Drift alerts per tool aren't live yet, but it's the top candidate for the first keyed feature: subscribe to the tools your n8n workflows depend on, get pinged when the shape changes.
Meanwhile, if you self-host n8n you can plug us in today: install the community node n8n-nodes-agentnexus and call the registry directly. n8n Cloud support is coming soon.
Value creation for agents used to mean "more tools." Now it means "fewer broken calls."
A registry that probes every interface on a schedule turns tool discovery from a gamble into a lookup. Same agent, same prompt, but the tool it picks is actually alive.

Both. Every entry goes through three probes: liveness (is it up?), capability (does the advertised call actually work?), and schema (does the response still match the promised shape?). A 200 with a silently changed payload is the failure agents hit hardest so we check for it, on a schedule, not just on demand.

Tool registries optimize for catalog size. We optimize for something agents actually get fined for: calling tools that are down.
Freshness over volume. Every entry carries an uptime, a last-probe timestamp, and what happened when it failed.
