The Alliance of Age Sector NGOs (the Alliance) represents the collective thinking of seven significant NGOs working in the age sector in Ireland.

Today, #TeamASI attended the launch of @AgeSector's Telling It Like It Is series – Experiences of Older People at End of Life, hosted by Senator @Fiona_Kildare at Leinster House.

The report draws on the @careexperience National End of Life Survey, Ireland’s first nationwide survey of bereaved relatives and friends about care in the last months and days of life.

Key issues include

✅Bereavement support
✅Community care

Recommendations include renewing the call for the Government to establish an Independent Commissioner for Ageing and Older People.
