Putin cannot be allowed to win in Ukraine. A bad peace would embolden Russia, threaten NATO, and signal weakness to China and Iran. Defending Ukraine’s independence is not charity. It is vital to U.S. security and global stability. https://t.co/gy12R8wLYQ
🚨 BOMBSHELL: Xi's Purge of Gen. Zhang Youxia Could Lead to War 🚨
The purge in China's military just heated up, and it's a full-blown power war between Xi Jinping and his top general, Politburo member Zhang Youxia.
Zhang and Xi have been clashing for months, if not longer. These purges — ramping up before October, exploding in October, and now hitting fever pitch — are Xi's desperate bid to crush opposition and seize total control of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).
The problem? The military under Zhang is opposed to a Taiwan invasion. It's Xi Jinping who's the danger.
If Zhang loses this fight — and it looks like he has — the consequences could be catastrophic for Taiwan, the U.S., and the entire world.
This isn't random housecleaning. Purges have been ongoing, with at least 18 generals ousted, expelled, or "disappeared". Taiwanese experts Shen Ming-shih and Chung Chih-tung warn the PLA's leadership is "hollowed out," filled with inexperienced loyalists who might bungle operations.
Zhang and the PLA brass oppose Xi's aggressive Taiwan agenda. They know the Chinese military's limits better than anyone — and remember what happened to the Argentine regime after they failed to hold the Falklands.
Reports suggest Zhang has clashed with Xi over invasion plans, viewing them as a suicidal gamble against U.S. intervention. China wants to "fight and win" by 2027, but can it? Xi is more willing to gamble than Zhang.
If Zhang really is out, Xi, surrounded by yes-men, might greenlight an invasion out of desperation to consolidate power. That spells disaster: A Taiwan war drags in the U.S., Japan, and allies, risking nuclear escalation. It's the CCP's endgame, as opinion pieces argue — factional wars cracking the regime's facade. Deep elite divisions, economic woes, and Xi's paranoia could accelerate collapse, triggering a reckless lash-out.
On the other hand, Zhang's ouster says no one in the Chinese leadership is safe from Xi. And that might be the trigger that results in his overthrow.
What do you think? Is Xi consolidating power or desperately clinging to it? And does this latest purge make war more likely? Share, repost, debate! 🔥🇨🇳🇹🇼

“The divide between Zhang and Xi no longer centered on debate or planning and instead shifted to execution and direct noncompliance. This problem was clearly visible across the PLA, and it posed a serious threat to Xi’s authority.” Excellent analysis of the fall of Zhang from @KTristanTang

Putin’s unprovoked invasion has now cost the Russian people 1.2 million casualties—more than America suffered in all of WWII. He could stop the suffering today. He can barely achieve his most modest battlefield goals. Instead, this former KGB agent continues to cast his people into one of the bloodiest military failures in history.
Russian propagandists are simply having a breakdown... of consciousness. It's so intense that you could warm your hands on the monitor.
The British The Times published an article in which, citing intelligence data, it revealed information about Russian losses in Kupiansk.
British intelligence officers believe that in the battles under Kupiansk, the Russians lost 27 soldiers for every Ukrainian.
