The who, the when, the why and the how - the full story of Operation Branchform, including the bits you've never heard before from the site that broke it. https://t.co/xSi1Dqe2hF
I often ask myself, "Why has there never been a Public Inquiry into the death of Willie McRae?" https://t.co/e7RM2Z4sm6 I always come up with the same answer, "The Brits never investigate their own murders". It's as simple as that.
“You can’t choose where you’re born but you can choose who you stand with.” I love this film & I ❤️ Scott McTominey. #ChooseScotland#Scotland#WorldCup2026 🏴🏴🏴🏴
Allegations of cash for seats coming on top of serious questions for the Crown & the Police make it increasingly likely there will be a Westminster inquiry. Scottish public life will be fixed from above unless the Scottish Government has the guts to set up an independent inquiry.
Keep going. Delighted to see your letters to Crown Office & Police Scotland were informed by independent legal advice from the Dean of the Faculty of Advocates. We need more transparency of decision-making in Scotland. If it takes legal action or a Westminster inquiry so be it.
A forensic breakdown of SNP finances under Sturgeon and Murrell. The leadership and their lackeys were terrified of this website and threatened any of us who retweeted it with expulsion from the Party. It’s not hard to work out why. This isn’t over yet.
Great! Will you be using any of that money to refund the people whose money was stolen by Murrell or to replace the money snaffled from the “ring-fenced” fund that was supposed to pay for the 2nd indyref you keep promising? 🤔
Five years to the day since I resigned from the SNP NEC because of the deliberate frustration of the scrutiny of governance & financial management I had been elected by members to deliver. Those asking questions were treated appallingly. We need to know why.
My favourite book which has inspired me throughout my life , both as a lawyer, as well as a politician-To Kill a Mockingbird: “The one thing that doesn’t abide by majority rule is a person’s conscience”. I know that my late Mum Winnie & my late father Stewart would not demur. 🏴
This is correct. Kirsten Oswald was happy to shut down questioning. As was Alex Kerr who is now the national secretary of the SNP. There are plenty of witnesses who will speak to this should there be a proper independent inquiry. Both should be considering their position.
Kirsten Oswald as chair allowed Ian Cockburn to attack the NEC member alerting the governing body of their denial of access to the accounts. She then joined in on the pile on of the member.
She has been promoted to a govt minister & we’re to believe Swinney knew nothing.
Really?
Independence activists and bloggers got the police involved.
But the SNP internal cover-up remained cast iron until the end.
Oswald, Beattie and Swinney were absolutely central to it.
@joannaccherry has every right to be emotional. She was victimised by Sturgeon & her clique for trying to do the job that SNP members elected her to do.
I witnessed first hand how badly they treated her when she sat on the NEC.
An independent investigation of the SNP is a must!
Some of those who did nothing or actively sought to shutdown legitimate questions & bullied and intimidated the group trying to sort out the problems have recently been elected as MSPs. I would question whether they are fit people to hold such positions of responsibility. 6/6
@scociaontherun@paulhutcheon Clerkin complained because of what we reported. Paul, like the rest of the Scottish media, blanked the story even when I tipped him off about it personally.
Remember: after Wings revealed the SNP's missing money in January 2020, I personally DMed all the Scottish media's chief politics hacks to suggest they follow up on the story. Not one of them did. None even acknowledged the message. https://t.co/tHXc2aLr0z
