AGKNOCKS MONDAY MORNING THOUGHTS

THE MORE WE CHANGE, THE MORE WE STAY THE SAME

Texas A&M Head Coaches Through Their First 34 Games:

Kevin Sumlin: 25-9 (73.5%)
Jimbo Fisher: 24-10 (70.6%)
Mike Elko: 23-11 (67.6%)

Texas A&M Head Coaches vs. AP Top 25 Opponents Through Their First 34 Games:

Kevin Sumlin: 6-9 (40.0%)
Jimbo Fisher: 4-8 (33.3%)
Mike Elko: 5-7 (41.7%)

JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS OUT, THEY PULL ME BACK IN FOR 15 MINUTES AND THEN I’M FULLY OUT AGAIN

-Marcel Reed, bro. I’m out of words for you this year. I know circumstances changed, the OL is all new, we lost KC, new playcaller. But holy shit man.

-I’d love to be a fly on the wall in the building for practice etc, and develop an inkling of an understanding as to why Brady Hart hasn’t gotten a chance to play meaningful snaps

-It makes no sense, and at this point the season is beyond lost. You have nothing to lose by starting Hart.

-Elko has put himself in a dilemma that if Hart sucks, the onus is on him for coming into the season with such a horrible offense in general

-if Hart is better than Marcel or dare I say “good”, we wasted a season with the wrong guy to satisfy ego? Donor money politics? It’s baffling. Bad spot to be in

BROKEN SYSTEM AND CULTURE

-how do you snap the ball on a play where you didn’t call an actual play? Either sabotage or one of the dumbest plays of all time.

-how can you fix this? Basically start from scratch next year and ride out this extension. We just need to be put in timeout. We don’t deserve a good football team, we are cursed, whatever it is. It might be time to just sit in our dirty diaper for a while.

Mike Elko on the potential decision to go to Brady Hart and his belief in Marcel Reed:

[AgKnocks @AgKnocks]

“Yeah bro I already got Klein to agree to $2M at Kansas State next year”

[AgKnocks @AgKnocks]

Brady Hart and Marcel always giggling on the sidelines when we are down multiple scores

His best football

[𝕋𝕣𝕒𝕧𝕚𝕤 𝕃. 𝔹𝕣𝕠𝕨𝕟 @Travis_L_Brown]

Texas A&M HC Mike Elko said they were looking at bringing backup QB Brady Hart in in the first quarter:

"Yeah, absolutely. There was for sure a tught. Couldn't continue to go that way and so we were ready to do that. Then Marcel, obviously, went out and played probably his best football for the rest of the first half, so that was good to see."

[AgKnocks @AgKnocks]

Bro did a total 180

Don’t fire me please Billy!
