O English-man, English-man, wherefore art thou English-man?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name;
If thou wilt, be but my brother still,
And I’ll no longer be an Australian-man.
’Tis not thy name that is their enemy, but thee:
Thou art thyself, more English than in name.
What’s English? It is not hand nor foot,
Nor arm nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What’s in a name? That which we call a rose By any other name would smell as sweet;
So English-man would, were he not English call’d,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. English-man, doff thy English name;
And for that name, which is no part of thee,
Take all thyself; thou mak’st England so.

@KatyKray73 Might be worth leaning into the idea that the term 'monoculture' flattens the value contributed by every individual living it. A culture, any culture, is as rich as the lives of those constituting it.
@craigkellyAFEE "There are plenty of other ways he could express his happiness about the chinese "victory" day… one way he has chosen to do that is by attending an event being hosted, addressed and attended by Communists."
@dela3499 Mind sharing a good reference for the 'Completeness / graph' idea? Robert Nozik talks 'fairly' clearly about Reflexive Self-reference (loops afaict).
@lukas_m_ziegler These products made by robots make me sad, they are simply objects, sculptural simulacra. The sculptures however are awe inspiringly beautiful embodiments of hope, vision, passion, discipline, perfection. The sculptures have more in common with the robots themselves.
@shallowchal Any idea what it would take for tradies to get involved in politics proper? Might be beneficial to have people with a practical understanding of reality involved in the decision making processes...
