I caught this Brown-headed Nuthatch gleaning insects as it worked its way down the tree, pausing occasionally. I think another bird, the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker made those tiny holes below it, and the nuthatch was just checking them for insects stuck in the sap. #birds#nature
