The darkness over many parts of Havana is not just a blackout. It's the slow execution of the Cuban people by Trump and Rubio. As I walk through it's streets and I see each unlit window, it's a family forced to live in this terrible heat, for days without water, unable to store food, without sleep under a genocide engineered from Washington. This is state-sanctioned cruelty disguised as policy, a calculated campaign to crush a people into submission and force regime change. The world must stop looking away. The Cuban people deserve to live, not just survive, free from Trump's chokehold. Enough is enough!
Fun Fact: The DEA's Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) investigated Jeffrey Epstein under Operation Chain Reaction for drug trafficking, prostitution, and money laundering.
Out of it came a 69-page memo from May 2015 naming Epstein and 14 associates tied to suspicious wire transfers. Marked unclassified.
Senator Ron Wyden asked for the unredacted version. The DEA was ready to hand it over. Then Todd Blanche personally blocked it. Todd Blanche then dismantled OCDETF entirely. The same unit that had been in existence for 43 years. The same unit that caught El Chapo. They no longer exist.
Todd Blanche is a pedo protector and every single one of you who voted to confirm him are complicit with his coverup if you ask me.
Here's the psychological trick authoritarian politics depends on:
Make you exhausted.
Make outrage constant.
Make corruption boring.
Make cruelty routine.
Make you believe resistance is pointless.
That's why refusing to become numb matters.
Your exhaustion is part of the strategy.
Take a deep breath, keep your fists in the air. Times will get better, as soon as these parasites are removed from office.

The Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, uses a female prisoner as a prop to brag about how inhumane the conditions of Israeli prisons have become under his directive.
More than 100 Palestinian prisoners have died in Israeli custody since October 7th. Thousands of people are held without any charges at all, making them hostages rather than prisoners. Ben Gvir is openly proud of all of this.
But he is right about one thing: those who commit crimes need to learn their lesson. That's why, sooner or later, he himself will learn one.
Rund 400 Teilnehmende zogen beim ersten Auftritt der AfD-Jugend „Generation Deutschland“ durch Schwerin. Mit Parolen wie „Send them back“ und „Wer Deutschland nicht liebt, soll Deutschland verlassen“ erinnerte der Aufzug mehr an die „Identitäre Bewegung“ oder Neonazi-Szene.
