grep is used in piping is very good for debugging and log analysis.
Other commands:
- cat <file> | sort
- cat <file> | sort | uniq
- cat <file> | wc -l (count line, word and character in output)

Piping in Bash (|)

Piping helps to connect the output of one command as the input of another command. Using the 'cat' command piping with 'grep' produces similar results. Commands that already display output like 'dmesg' which displays kernel messages is a good one.
