Did you know? Street Fighter 5's victory music & The KLF's 1991 hit 'America: What Time Is Love?' share uncanny musical resemblances!

My first fighting game tournament was on this!
It was a time trial challenge to get to it, and I was one of the 8 fastest in the UK who got the invite!😀
And not a lot of people know about this! I appeared in the Sega Saturn magazine at the time though too 😁
Definitely want to hear this as.. honestly the Gems in Yomi 2 are very interesting but also a confusing extra complexity layer for someone who's only had a few hours to scratch the surface of the game - almost wished I could 'turn them off' tbh as a beginner a few times now!
Now you can see how these different Gems can alter a character's playstyle in some pretty significant ways, or give them special tools to handle specific matchups.
Next time we'll talk about some specific characters and what they would get out of using each particular Gem.
Less than a week to go before ETC23, time to look at what our players are bringing!
First time as a captain Juha is trusting his long time KoE army!
#ETC23
It's the ETC this week! All the teams will now be travelling from around the globe to Amsterdam, where #ETC23 is being hosted.
We'll be tweeting from the ETC to keep you posted. You can also follow all the scores as they come in on https://t.co/j8H7a0SBUd
So we're all packed up and ready to head to Amsterdam for #ETC23. Bringing the Vampires and my 'A' game! But most of all excited to get out there &see everyone I've been chatting to over the last 6 months! Wish me luck folks!

Inquiring minds need to know:
What prevents you from buying an Indie Fighter?
What's your deal-breaker?
I want to hear your thoughts🗣️

@mrmkl_ Usually their standard modern FG long combo systems I don't like at all! (so their "mechanics" in a generic sense). But after that, could be any of the above tbh.
#Yomi2 is on Epic Games Store in Early Access!
Yomi 2 is a fighting game in card form. Strategic turn-based card battling that lets you experience the nuances of fighting games like Street Fighter and Fantasy Strike by a lead designer who worked on both.

#Yomi2 is available now on #Steam Early Access!
The sequel to our original fighting card game is finally here. 9 playable characters, online play, a robust single player campaign and more!

@ThatPunkTweets Wow! most FG fans LOVE massive combos ofc!..
Cinematic supers - I guess I can live with a lot easier overall; but it really "depends" really how frequent and disruptive they are. But at worst would still be a 'minor niggle' for me at best in the grand scheme of FG mechanics!
Most hated mechanic though; and the reason I don't like MOST fighting games - any long combos. Anything that isn't quick and done in about 3 button presses I really dislike.
(Dishonourable mention to any ubiquitous option select mechanics; usually stuff like throw-tech)
hey it's time to engagement farm.
Tell me what your favorite fighting game mechanic of all time is, and why. Or your most hated one. Feel free to argue with each other too. Honestly you can reply to this with whatever you want as long as the number goes up.
