The NHS workforce plan in England does not go nearly far enough to address the challenges for our profession & AHPs.
Itโs not fully funded & 3.7% growth of OTs is not ambitious enough to meet demand.
Plus, it highlights again to us the need for a social care people plan!
@Independencemob Aw thank you Iโm at Rushcliffe LMHT and I am finding it a good experience so far and having that belief in myself - change for the better
Iโm here again - not been for a long time. I have a new job and on the induction next week. I had an experience before and it made me consider if Iโm good at being an OT and if itโs the path for me. So Iโm in this new job to see if what I was told is true or if I am a good OT
@hassanali_OT Yes it could be blurred lines but my strong OT identity continues to influence even in a care co role and I always think occupationally it is a skill you will develop over time - in your placements and as a practitioner. ๐ #derbyallumi
Beginning third virtual group adding occupation to how to over anxiety tomorrow @derbyshcft@DHCFT_AHP making occupation the centre of what we do!#proudtobeOT at Bolsover & Clay Cross CMHT
@JayneLeGrice_OT Itโs so difficult but you are not alone! Maybe have a break after graduating before further study? Youโll be a great OT - this is just the process not the end result! X
