Labo Progressive Multi Purpose Cooperative (LPMPC) Executive Director Mario Espeso signs MOA with the Department of Agriculture (DA) RFO 5 for the implementation of the DA INSPIRE Project.

LPMPC will receive Php44 million in funding to implement the project.

On agricultural insurance literacy: “One challenge is that even big cooperatives see insurance as a cost. They buy fire insurance but not for allied perils like typhoons, flooding, & earthquakes. Coops do not cover this policy despite this policy being already available.”
