As part of the AGROFIG project, sampling of the vetch and oat cover crop has been carried out in the fig agroforestry trials.
These analyses will help assess the potential of cover crops to improve soil fertility and the sustainability of the production system.

🌿 We are delighted to announce that AGROFIG will be organizing the 2nd edition of the Tunisian–Algerian event: Agrofig – Fig-based agroforestry for sustainability.
The event will take place on April 25–26, 2026, in Thibar (Béjà).
🌱 A recent visit to the Turkey 🇹🇷 demonstration field of the PRIMA project AGROFIG allowed us to observe the progress of the vetch and vetch + barley sown in the plot, which are already well established.
