57th Attorney General of Arkansas, Former AR Lt. Governor, #AR2 Member of Congress, 5th generation Arkansan, @USArmy National Guard Colonel, Husband and Father.
Happy 251st birthday to the greatest fighting force the world has ever known, the @USArmy. I am proud to have served in the Army for 30 years, carrying on the tradition passed down to me by my grandfather, George Gaylon Beasley of the 80th Division, 317th Infantry Regiment, who served in World War I. #GoArmy
For nearly 250 years, Old Glory has been a symbol of liberty. As memorialized in our national anthem, the American flag has inspired hope in our troops in the midst of battle and is recognized the world over as a beacon of freedom. Our founders cemented the Stars and Stripes as our official flag on June 14, 1777, and today, on #FlagDay, we celebrate everything it represents.
Today I helped kick off the Arkansas Bar Association’s Annual Meeting by talking about the importance of public service. America’s legal system is unique in human history, upholding the vision of the Founders through the interpretation and defense of our laws. Those laws safeguard our liberty and uphold justice. We all owe a debt of service to those great ideals. #arnews

Last week I spoke at the National Association of Christian Lawmakers’ annual conference, highlighting how my faith in Jesus Christ defines and shapes my perspective on everything, including my approach to public service. It was a heartwarming and encouraging experience to be among so many fellow public servants who are deeply committed to their Christian faith. Thank you to @jasonrapert, @Bob_Ballinger, @MaryBentleyAR, @MindyForAR, and everyone else at @ChristLawmakers for a wonderful evening.

Many Americans go to the beach to vacation and relax, beaches named Miami, Rosemary, Myrtle, and Wrightsville. I do, too. They are beautiful and fun. But my preferred beaches were once covered in blood and wounded examples of service and sacrifice—Allied soldiers, Americans. I am drawn to beaches with names like Omaha, Utah, Juno, Sword, and Gold. These beaches are now peaceful, sacred strips of land where children play and families swim. They were once home to chaos and death, the fog of war. They stir deep emotions. They demand reflection and gratitude. They remind, sadden, and motivate me. Operation Overlord and the June 6, 1944, landing on the beaches of Normandy France was the largest and most consequential military operation in the history of man. Today we reflect on the North Star values that led the United States to sacrifice so much, not for conquest, but to ensure freedom for the world. American soldiers embarked on the amphibious landing almost certain they would die, and so many did. So much of what each generation needs to thrive was exemplified on the beaches of Normandy: selflessness, grit, determination, courage, faith, moral absolutes, love of freedom, love of neighbor, intelligence, coalition building, discipline, self-discipline, commitment, and hard work. Today and every day we honor those who served on June 6, 1944. We owe them a debt we can never repay.
This year, we got lucky and missed the rain for @KeepARBeautiful’s Great Arkansas Cleanup!
I’m proud that my office once again joined volunteers to help keep Downtown Little Rock clean. It was especially meaningful to do so as we mark our first year in the Bob R. Brooks Jr. Justice Building.
A special thank you to the many people who stopped to thank our volunteers while they were out working. Your kind words meant a lot and reminded us that community pride is alive and well in Little Rock.
As always, my staff showed up ready to work and serve. They’re not just outstanding professionals—they’re outstanding volunteers, too. Thank you to everyone who participated and demonstrated what community service is all about.

Today I had the opportunity to visit ACCESS Village and meet the incredible team and members behind this important work.
@accessgroupinc is building a community where individuals with developmental disabilities can live, work, and play, with meaningful opportunities through vocational training, life skills programming, affordable co-housing, smart home technology, and inclusive spaces that bring people together.
I enjoyed touring their multi-use facility and learning more about their vision for a “pocket neighborhood” that supports independence, safety, purpose, and community.
Arkansas is stronger because of organizations like ACCESS and the individuals they serve. #arnews
Catch me tomorrow morning at 7:10 as I talk with KARN morning show host @TobyHowell33 about the Fraud Roundtable I attended last week at the invitation of @VP@JDVance. 102.9 FM in Central Arkansas.
June is Internet Safety Month.
Talk with your children about staying safe online. Remember, your kids should not interact with strangers online. Teach them that if something feels wrong, uncomfortable, or suspicious, they shouldn’t respond, but instead should tell a trusted adult.
Know what apps your children use, who they're talking to online, and review privacy settings together. Awareness and open conversations can help keep young Arkansans safe.
To report suspected online exploitation of a child:
Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division: (800) 482-5964
National Center for Missing & Exploited Children CyberTipline: (800) 843-5678

On October 8, 2024, investigators from my Special Investigations Division (SID) received a tip from TJX Companies about a suspect behind multiple thefts at a Little Rock @marshalls. The suspect stole merchandise on September 7, 16, 19, 23, and 28, and again on October 3, 8, and 28 – totaling approximately $12,000 in stolen inventory. My office identified the suspect as Ebonie Louden, 40, of Little Rock.
On November 8, 2024, my office submitted affidavits to the Pulaski County Prosecutor’s Office seeking eight felony theft warrants for Louden. The court approved the warrants and forwarded them to the Little Rock District Court.
On May 29, 2026, the Little Rock Police Department arrested Louden on separate theft-related charges. SID then transported her to the Pulaski County Jail, where she was served eight additional felony theft warrants.
I am grateful for the excellent work done by SID and the assistance of the Little Rock Police Department. Retail theft is not a victimless crime. Repeated theft offenses can harm businesses, employees, and consumers. We will continue working with our law enforcement partners to ensure those who commit these crimes are held accountable. https://t.co/BuurUVY4ri #arnews

This year’s Arkansas Boys State Attorney General Jaiden Bible, Chief Deputy Attorney General Fox Youngblood, and Chief of Staff Maxim Berestner spent the day at my office learning about the many ways we serve Arkansans each and every day.
They also had the opportunity to create a public service announcement and experience some of the day-to-day responsibilities that come with public service.
Programs like Arkansas Boys State provide students with valuable opportunities to learn about government, leadership, and civic engagement. It was a pleasure to host these outstanding young men, and I look forward to seeing what they accomplish in the future. #arnews @ArBoysState
Yesterday I filed an amicus brief in American Securities Association v. United States Securities and Exchange Commission in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. The brief supports petitioners’ challenge to the federal Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) funding order for the Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT).
The CAT is a surveillance tool and behemoth database of Americans’ investment data that poses a significant security and privacy risk. It gives thousands of authorized users—and, given the hacking risks, potentially countless unauthorized users—access to sensitive trading information tied to millions of Americans. Although the @SECGov has taken steps to remove personal data from the CAT, serious liberty, privacy, and security risks remain.
These risks posed by the CAT are not just bad policy, they are also illegal. That’s because the SEC lacked statutory authority to implement and fund the CAT. I’m proud to lead this amicus brief to protect Americans’ financial information and to ensure federal agencies do not exceed their statutory authority. https://t.co/SPrLznVSgt #arnews
This year’s Arkansas Girls State Attorney General Kaziah Olive and Deputy Attorney General Anani Coleman spent the day at my office learning about the important work we do to serve Arkansans.
They had the opportunity to learn about the different divisions within the office, tour the Bob R. Brooks Jr. Justice Building, and even help create a Public Service Announcement.
It’s always encouraging to see young leaders eager to learn more about public service and the responsibilities that come with leadership. Arkansas’s future is bright with young women like these stepping up to lead. #arnews @ALAforVeterans
Arkansans have reported receiving scam letters that look like official government tax notices. These letters claim consumers owe back taxes or could face tax liens, wage garnishments, or other penalties. The scammers pressure consumers to pay large upfront fees for supposed tax-relief services and may falsely claim to work with or contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
These scam letters are designed to create fear and urgency. Some direct consumers to call private companies that pretend to help resolve tax problems. These companies may urge consumers to stay on the line while they pretend to “contact the IRS” in an effort to obtain personal or financial information.
How Arkansans should respond:
- Do not call the number listed on the letter
- Do not share personal, banking, or financial information
- Do not make payments before verifying the company is legitimate
- Verify your tax status directly with the IRS: (800) 829-1040, and the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration: (501) 682-5000
- Check with your county office about any actual tax liens
- Request IRS transcripts to confirm your tax status
- Report suspicious letters to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), or the Office of the Attorney General
- Contact your bank or credit card company immediately if you made a payment

.@SenTomCotton is right to press the FDA on #cybersecurity risks tied to Chinese-made medical devices. When hostile actors can access sensitive patient data or interfere with equipment that hospitals rely on, that is not just a privacy issue or a tech issue. It is a national security issue.
This is exactly the kind of gray zone warfare we have to take seriously: adversaries looking for ways to exploit the systems Americans depend on every day. I applaud Senator Cotton for engaging on this and for pushing federal agencies to close vulnerabilities that put patients and our country at risk.
My office is on the front lines of fighting fraud in Arkansas every single day, so I was honored to join Vice President @JDVance and several other state AGs today to discuss strategies for fighting Medicaid and other benefit fraud across the country.
When fraud goes unchecked, it threatens care for the most vulnerable. We’re continuing to crack down on criminal fraudsters so we can protect essential benefits for those who depend on them. #arnews
