I’m deeply saddened by the recent incident involving our Senator, Rochas Okorocha and some of his aides at Imo state, where political thugs made an attempt on his life in the presence of law enforcement,

It is a condemnable act and is completely unacceptable. I hope that appropriate authorities would give the needed response and I would like to call on his teeming supporters and well wishers to remain calm and law abiding while we await a much needed response from the authorities

it is deeply saddening that what appears to have been a failed assassination attempt and has left some of his aides and my brother in-law seriously injured and hospitalized is alleged to have been sponsored by political actors.
