CHASE LEFT ME STRANDED ABROAD AFTER AN ARMED ROBBERY.
I was robbed at gunpoint in Ecuador on June 22. My phone/cards were stolen. I called Chase the next day and was told to wait 24 hours. Since then, I’ve spent hours trying to verify with passport/ID/police report, but Chase keeps requiring the stolen phone or a U.S. branch visit.
I believe this violates consumer protection laws, including unfair/deceptive practices rules, because Chase created a security loop with no reasonable alternative verification path while blocking access to my own funds.
CFPB complaint filed. Executive escalation sent. I need access to my money today.

I reject 75% of applicants before they say a single word.
Not because they are unqualified. Because I do not have time. I have 200 applications, a full calendar, and 20 minutes to make a cut.
So I skim a resume. I make a decision in 8 seconds. And 150 people never knew they had a chance.
That is the human process everyone is defending.
Now people are losing their minds because they have to do an AI interview.
You want to know what the AI interview means?
It means you actually got to speak. It means someone listened to your answers. It means you were evaluated on what you said, not what your LinkedIn looks like or what school you went to.
You should be thanking the AI. Without it, you were not even in the room.
Give it five years. Every candidate who actually got the job because of a fair screening process is going to be talking about how AI changed their life.
And the people still complaining about it will still be getting rejected in 8 seconds by someone who never read past their headline.
I'll say it:
Talia has killed hundreds of entry level recruiter jobs.
And I'd do it again! 👿
Every great recruiter we work with? Still employed. Thriving actually. Because screening 400 resumes a day was never a career! it was a punishment. We just automated the punishment.
Ramp studied 21,559 companies. The ones that went all in on AI grew headcount 10% in two years. Entry-level hiring went UP. So no, AI is not taking jobs. Mediocrity is just finally losing its job security.
What Talia does is give every single candidate a real 10-minute AI interview before a human ever touches the pile. The recruiters who got replaced were the ones doing that job badly anyway! skimming, ghosting, copy-pasting rejections. The ones who were actually good got promoted.
The people screaming "AI kills jobs" are the same people who would have said calculators were killing mathematicians. They're not wrong that something is dying. They're just wrong about what it is.
Hiring will always be human. You're not onboarding a software integration, you can't just paste in an API key and have someone show up to work on Monday.
The best recruiters I've ever seen barely even look at the resume. They get on a call, they listen, and they just know. That instinct is not a skill you learn. You either have it or you don't. And if you don't have it I'm sorry, but Talia is not your problem.
But you absolutely can automate the part where someone clicks "reject all" without reading a single application. That part deserved to die.
Talia handles the pile. The best recruiters handle everything else. That's not a bug that's the whole point.
