Spoke to phone line again on Friday, promised to investigate and call back. Didn’t happen. Online account still says dig booked for Thu 25 (4 days ago). Still no reply to support ticket. What is happening?! Should I just cancel and sign up with another provider? (2/2)
@Hyperoptic had a pre install check, said needed a dig. Dig booked last Thu 25. Took day off to be home. Nobody came. Spoke to phone line, said would look into it and call back. Didn’t. Opened online support ticket. No reply. (1/2)
@LNER Thanks. If it changes significantly can we use our tickets on the service before - we have to be in London by a specific time which is why we booked that train.
@LNER booked on 14:27 DAR-KGX on 31/12. I see works DAR - YRK due to end 11:00, but train is showing ⚠️ with a note it won’t run as planned. All preceding trains and those after not showing the issue (except one an hour later). Is this an error?
@LNER waiting at darlington with an advance ticket for the delayed 18:22, but the 18:03 is still yet to arrive. Can I get on the first service given this will still be significantly later than my booked train?
@LNER with the issues today will all existing reservations be honoured.?I’ve got a reservation from DAR to KGX on the following one that has been cancelled from EDB to NCL so likely to be super busy. I’ve had it before where reservations just get cancelled when it’s busy. 🤷🏻♂️
@SELFESTEEM___ Such a fantastic, powerful, emotional night at the theatre and your brilliant music is a big part of that. Jodie smashed it - could have heard that proverbial pin drop. Feel very lucky to have seen it and sorry to hear you’re not well. Get better then go bask in your triumph!
Bit of a joke, no? When the train got busy you decided to cancel all reservations so everyone getting on the train trying to do exactly what you asked them to couldn’t and had to stand instead. 🤦🏻♂️
Our services are very busy today. Where possible, sit in your reserved seat only. If you do not have a seat reservation, you may have to stand for the duration of your journey.
There is limited unreserved seating in Coach C for Standard Class customers.
@LNER Ok. I still think over 25min on the train while everyone is stressed out about missing seats/reservations and not a single announcement is pretty poor. The train seems to be moving forward just fine…
@LNER on the 16:28 Darlington to London. Booked seats for months. People in our seats saying the reservations no longer stand. Can’t walk through train to find guard as corridors full of people. What should we do?
@LNER And why has there been no announcement to this effect or any apology? We’re just going by what people in our seats are telling us. I’ve not seen a single staff member, and doubt they guard could actually make it through the train as it’s so difficult to climb over everyone/bags
@LNER Obviously if anyone then decided a not to use their reservation those without could fill the gaps, but all this system does is cause chaos, and costs you loads in repaying all the passengers with reserved seats who can’t sit down.
@LNER Yes but surely there should be a system in place that anyone with a prior reservation can still use it otherwise what is the point in buying advance tickets with reservations. All this system has done is means those who booked early to guarantee seats now have to stand for 2.5hr
@LNER Hi Cameron that’s completely unacceptable. We don’t want to travel for free, we want to travel in the seats we paid for. There are not only no seats but the aisles are dangerously full of people and luggage. What is the point in having seat reservations if they aren’t honoured
We’re looking for performers to be involved in the development and performance of a new play by Travis Alabanza, directed by Debbie Hannan.
