How did 37 people die in government custody? This thought keeps crossing my mind.

I’m seriously bemused. The suspension of 20 NCSDS personnel, including the Naija commandant, is not and should never be enough. All those involved in this murder, directly or indirectly, must be prosecuted and sentenced to death or life imprisonment.

I'm glad @adeyanjudeji is on the committee constituted to investigate the incident. Justice must be served!

This morning, as I stepped out of our masjid after Subhi prayer, a woman approached me and asked if I was the person she had been looking for. She said she needed support for her three children with school uniforms and materials; one of them is deaf.

Their father was working at Shagalinku Restaurant but was recently laid off.

Since the beginning of September, we have supported several children in our community to return to school, and I also have a similar request for a young girl.

In Sha Allah, by the end of the month, with our salaries and support from other sources, we will get these children back to school.

How to Perform the Ritual Bath/Purification (Ghusl) in Islam.

The word ghusl (غُسْل) means ‘washing’. In Islamic practice, it refers to a full-body ritual bath that removes major ritual impurity (janābah). This state prevents acts like prayer, touching the muṣḥaf, or making ṭawāf. “O you who believe! If you are in a state of janābah, purify yourselves.” (Qur’ān, 5:6)
