For those of you globally @fnfent_official choice is also disappointing because not only have European FOHA been waiting to see AHOF in Europe but there are so many casuals (and FOHA) who have been waiting for years to see Woongki, Shuaibo & Steven.

For context: when introducing AHOF to new people in Europe most people already know them as ‘Woongki’s new group’ he is a well known icon across Kpop fans. Not to also forget that Steven has already done TWO Europe tours with Luminous and the majority of their fans came from Europe and still support him now. Even if AHOF came to a singular festival in Europe, these fans would make an effort to travel just to see them.

Given the opportunity, @fnfent_official is more than capable of bringing them to a festival in Europe. And it brings to light the question of what opportunities (Global or KR) for AHOF have they turned down instead to do this show in Russia. (They already cancelled the Bangkok and Hong Kong tour and the OST so anything is possible)

We already expected to wait a while (maybe years) for a chance to see AHOF in Europe, so this announcement has been disappointing and almost felt like a slap in the face.

We’ve seen the comments and been contacted about wanting protest trucks for this issue. As much as we would want to go ahead with it, the trucks would need thousands of € in funds and someone in Korea coordinate with the local authorities.

The scale and cost of this is completely out of our budget and we would need serious backing and financial support from other fanbases and a trusted dedicated fan in Korea to coordinate.

All of our previous fan projects have been organised in a way to give back to FOHA and have been funded out of admins own pocket, through collaboration with other fanbases or with some donations from a few kind FOHA.

We have never opened a general donation fund because we know Europe is in a cost of living crisis and feel uncomfortable asking fans to donate their money. We knew that if there were Europe fans who wanted to donate for voting, there are more than enough dedicated fanbases who already had a system in place who could support that.

We wish we could go ahead with a physical protest in this way, but we don’t have the resources.

We encourage you instead to research and donate to charities that are helping civilians in Ukraine.

We’ve seen cross platform many people say that they don’t understand why we’re making a fuss and to wait for FNF to make an official announcement. They don’t seem to understand that’s not how these concerts in Russia are organised. Everything is kept to private groups and update channels because they KNOW the backlash they’ll face.

We are the ones with experience with this situation. We have seen this play out before and we know what will happen if AHOF goes to this festival.

To FOHAs who aren’t aware of why we’re doing this protest, please read AHOF EUROPE’s post below. All it takes is a little awareness to understand that F&F is risking everything, including AHOF’s global reputation, just to make quick cash from that country.

By sending AHOF to this festival, they are contributing to Russia’s economy while supporting an organizer that directly sponsors the Russian military, which is at the forefront of the invasion of Ukraine. This is not just about a festival; it is about where the money goes and the consequences of supporting it.

[📣] For those of you who may not fully understand or are lacking the global political context: FNF not pulling AHOF from the Russian Festival isn’t just a matter of online drama but a real genuine concern that should be felt from FOHA all over the world.

Even now as we speak, the Russian War in Ukraine is a serious topic covered daily by countries in Europe and has been since it began in 2022.

There has been (verified) 16k civilians killed and over 50k injured. There are 5.9 million refugees and 3.7 million people displaced in Ukraine. This includes men, women and children.

The war directly affects multiple countries across Europe who share borders with Ukraine. People have been displaced, lost friends and family and have themselves, or family members, taken part in the war effort against Russia and personally experienced the horror of it.

Not only should you be morally against AHOF headlining a festival that in a country that is actively invading another. But it also directly impacts AHOF’s personal safety due to ongoing drone strikes in Moscow where AHOF is scheduled to perform.

If AHOF perform at this festival it will have a lasting mark on their global image. Not only will existing FOHA drift away and stop supporting but many new fans who become interested in who AHOF are, will be turned away by the news of this event. The same in the instance of AHOF if they have a viral moment. This festival will follow them for years and people won’t forget. It will be awful because we know this isn’t who AHOF are. This is 100% the fault of FNF. People will not compromise their morals for KPOP. And if they do, are they really the type of fans you want supporting our AHOF?

It is imperative we protest this continuously until FNF removes AHOF from this event.
