The time has come to announce my maternity leave. ✨ Due to the current situation 🦠 and me being the size of a whale 🐳 I will not be returning to school on the 8th March with you all. I have loved teaching each and everyone of you and will be returning in January 2022.
Little insight on work to come with Year 8. You will eventually be creating your own artist inspired work with your own photographs. See example.
This week we are working on photography skills and annotation. Work will be set Friday morning on your google classroom. 📸
Some very impressive work created by a few of my year 8 art students. Well done to who these belong too. You’ve done amazing, keep up the good work.
- Please remember to hand in your work on google classroom for marking and next comments. You’re doing great! 🌟
Superb effort well done team Gilbert! What an amazing place @aylshamhigh school 😍 lots of love & warmth during challenging times to our students! #StaySafe#specialplace
If you have an iPhone or iPad you have a built in scanner. If you need to scan a piece of work to send to your child’s teacher use the ‘Notes’ app. Open a new note, press the camera button, an option to scan will appear. Once the doc is scanned you can add notes & email it.
and mostly me rambling on. 😶🤷🏼♀️ but if you would like to watch the full video it is on the school textiles Instagram account @ahsarttextiles. @aylshamhigh
It has taken a lot of confidence to post this video as I’m not claiming to be a professional I just want you to know that whether you are having a good day or bad you’re not alone and there is always someone to talk to. There a few ideas on how to keep positive and productive
Thought I’d share these again-might be useful for anyone looking for remote learning art tasks. All students need is a piece of paper & pencil, and each drawing could take about 30 mins to complete. Also means less screen time for students which is important.Feel free to use🙂
Some lovely and well presented year 8 work being handed in on google classroom for the research project. Well done to Millie Karim, Benjie Perry and Lewis Taylor. 🌟 Keep submitting your work Year 8 I will be marking and responding to your messages all day. 🎨
