AHS has been notified of four additional new cases of measles within the Central Zone where there are now 30 confirmed cases at this time. At least one of the new individual cases has been in public settings in Edmonton while infectious. Learn more at: https://t.co/7lhseHRBw0

Due to a water leak, the Urgent Care Centre at the East Edmonton Health Centre is temporarily closed as of 5 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025 and will remain closed through the weekend. Regular operations are expected to resume Monday, March 24, at 5 p.m. https://t.co/y3ch8PqEQ6

What a great way to start 2025!

The first baby of 2025 born at an Alberta hospital is baby girl Amira. Born at 12:02:22 am at South Health Campus in Calgary, weighing 4 lbs 14.3oz.

We wish all of the New Year’s babies and families health, happiness, and plenty of sleep.

The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital is creating a Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC), and they are looking for a diverse group of patient &family members who have lived experience navigating the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.

The council will start holding monthly meetings in January, providing a venue for Glenrose teams to engage directly with advisors and ensure the voices of patients, families and caregivers resonate throughout health policies, projects, and programs across the continuum of care.
