@aylshamhigh @AHS_FuturesDept @lotuscars it was a pleasure to take a group of our year 10 students to Lotus today to celebrate International Women’s Day and National Careers Week. They heard from female employees of Lotus about careers in the automotive industry.

They also learnt about the co founder of Lotus, Hazel Chapman, who founded Lotus with her husband, Colin Chapman with the sum of £25!
They then went on to research inspirational women from history and present their findings to the other schools present.

There are some fantastic photographs showing what a great bunch of young people we took away on this residential trip. We received some excellent feedback about their behaviour and positivity from the activity centre and the coach company. @AHS_ActWeek @aylshamhigh

Tonight is our last evening at Adventure Bude and we have presentation evening. Over the course of the week our tutors have been looking out for Superstars, Jokers and Bottles (those that have faced/overcome fears) - who will win these awards and bring them back to AHS!

Will we also bring home Super Team? The students have been an absolute credit to the school, their parents and to themselves this week. They are all super stars in their own right and we know we have a super group of young people. @aylshamhigh @AhsBude @AHS_ActWeek
