Tonight I attended the launch of the Battle of Moore Street by Ray Bateson. This is about protecting the historic buildings that stood at the heart of Ireland’s fight for freedom in 1916.

Moore Street is more than bricks and mortar. It’s a living memorial. We must protect it.

For too long now we’ve lost highly qualified medical and healthcare professionals and much sought after expertise to other countries.

We need to bring those people home and the only way we can do that is to adopt an all-island healthcare approach.
