Introducing, #X1 Vault — the storage layer for AI agents on X1.

Your X1 wallet derives the encryption key. No accounts, no passwords, no server trust. Ed25519 signature → SHA-256 → AES-256-GCM. One wallet, one key, any device.

Why it matters for AI on blockchain:

Autonomous agents need persistent memory that survives across sessions, machines, and restarts. X1 Vault gives every agent its own encrypted namespace on IPFS — keyed to its wallet, invisible to everyone else.

Smart dedup solves encrypted storage's hardest problem: same plaintext + different IVs = different ciphertext = IPFS can't dedup. X1 Vault's plaintext MD5 protocol catches duplicates before encryption — ~50% storage savings in production.

What this enables:
→ AI agents with durable, portable memory (700+ files, hourly backups, 95% cache hits — running live on X1 today)
→ On-chain CID references to off-chain encrypted data
→ Multi-agent isolation — Agent A can't read Agent B's memory, same IPFS node
