This week, an OCHA team and donors to the Ethiopia Humanitarian Fund (EHF) are on the ground in Somali Region, meeting with local authorities and communities to gain insights into the region's humanitarian needs and to see the impact of EHF-supported projects led by local NGOs.

Under the YIELD Program, AID delivered Business and Mindset training to 80 youth in Goljano Woreda, organized into two cohorts of 40 participants each. Notably, 80% of the participants were women.

We are pleased to announce that our team has successfully handed over essential WASH facilities to the Awbare Woreda Water Resources Office. The facilities include a 25 m³ elevated RCC reservoir, water points, cattle troughs, gender-segregated .../1
semi-permanent latrines, and three drums of HTH 70% water treatment chemicals, as shown below.
The reservoir alone benefits over 5,000 individuals and their livestock, significantly improving access to clean water and sanitation in the area. .../2
