Macam ni la, some of them are promoting EVs but they fail to inform you that the battery will have to be discarded at some point of time.

Macam lampu suluh kau tu, bateri dia tahan ke setahun? Tak kan?

Bateri EV lagi canggih, boleh tahan 10-15 tahun. Okay la, let’s say tahan 20 tahun, tetap kena buang.

Batery Energizer AAA boleh la kau campak masuk tong sampah. Bateri EV, kau nak campak pun kena guna forklift, dan tak ada tong sampah yang muat pun.

Apa yang aku nak cakap kat sini, kat negara maju, harga EV termasuk dengan kos pengurusan dan pembuangan bateri lama. Kerajaan dia wajibkan.

Malaysia tak ada lagi, terpulang pada pengeluar. Itu yang Perodua maksudkan, “kami kaji faktor keseluruhan ekosistem EV”.

Sebab itu antara punca dia cadang suruh lease bateri. Dia tak nak negara dan pengguna terbeban. BMW pun sama, dia dah fikir jalan nak dispose bateri bateri lama dia.

Hat lain, nanti bateri tu dah nak kena buang, tak kan nak suruh gomen tanggung kot? Owner la tanggung, bermakna harga terpakai kereta tu akan jatuh lagi teruk!

Paling aku pelik, media terhabis EV tu langsung tak faham benda ni, atau saja tak nak cerita yang sebenarnya ada syarikat kereta tau jual je, tapi taiknya nanti, negara kita yang kena handle?
