which slowly morphed into a full-fledged after-school program running 4 days a week in about 60 centers across several districts in West Bengal.
We spent some time with about 20 children of all age groups and 5-6 volunteers in the study center.

75 families supported by a small grant to restart their business in Paniara village in Birbhum dist. This is one of the poorest and most neglected villages Our volunteers have seen this in W Bengal when we started working with our partner MBBCDS.

Today things have turned around - almost all girls are going to school, families have toilets, many families have taken up organic kitchen gardens and 11 families have raised orchards.
