A photo of 3 young kids being put to bed in the back of a car after their family was made homeless yesterday, has gone viral.

However, with the power of social media and the good will of Irish people, the family was accommodated last night.

The photo brought many angry and frustrated comments that 3 young children nearly had to sleep overnight in a car in this day in age.

Below is one of the appeals for help for the family:

"How is this right 3 young children made homeless today. Being put to bed in the back of a car for school tomorrow.

" How can they have all these new builds and they can’t house our own. I pray no one ever finds themselves in this position.

"Someone out there should be able to help them. Please free to tag any politician/ counselor you think that could help them ..please share !".
