ABVP JNU delegation, led by JNUSU Joint Secretary Vaibhav Meena, met with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt Rekha Gupta to raise pressing concerns and demands of JNU students.

The delegation highlighted issues related to campus mobility, sports and fitness facilities, healthcare, and academic infrastructure, emphasizing the need for proactive measures to improve student life on campus.

During the meeting, the delegation proposed initiatives including special intra-campus buses, enhanced U-Special bus services, free DTC travel, metro concession passes, dedicated metro feeder buses, library extension, upgradation of the JNU stadium, additional sanitary pad vending machines, comprehensive medical insurance, appointment of a permanent gynecologist, establishment of an Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandir, internship opportunities with the Delhi Government, regular health camps, and preventive measures like fogging and health inspections.

A delegation of ABVP, MeDeVision, and PharmaVision led by National General Secretary Dr. Virendra Solanki, National Secretary Shivangi Kharwal, National Convener Dr. Maulik Thakkar, along with PharmaVision Co-Conveners Apurba Nandi and Shreya Vashishth, met Hon’ble Union Health Minister Shri J.P. Nadda Ji. In the meeting, a meaningful discussion was held on vital issues concerning medical education, healthcare services, and pharmacy education. The delegation urged regulation of PG students’ residency and working hours, sought the constitution of a High-Level Committee to probe rising suicides in medical colleges, and raised concerns over NEET-PG/MDS reforms, mental health support, GPAT stipend, and D.Pharm Exit Exam. Implementation of the National Pharmacy Commission Bill 2023 was also strongly emphasized. The Hon’ble Minister appreciated the concerns and assured due consideration for necessary reforms to ensure students’ welfare and strengthen the healthcare sector.

प्रदेशभर में अभाविप द्वारा चलाए गए जोरदार आंदोलन के बाद सरकार ने सभी विश्वविद्यालयों, महाविद्यालयों एवं शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में मान्यता एवं प्रवेश प्रक्रिया की सघन जाँच के सख्त आदेश जारी किए हैं।
1. सरकार ने अभाविप की सभी प्रमुख माँगों को स्वीकार किया है।
2. शिक्षा व्यवस्था में पारदर्शिता और छात्रों के हितों क�� दिशा में ऐतिहासिक कदम।
3. जल्द ही विशेष जाँच समिति का गठन कर कार्यवाही शुरू होगी।

यह जीत हर उस छात्र की है जो पारदर्शी और गुणवत्ता पूर्ण शिक्षा चाहता है।
अभाविप – सिर्फ आवाज़ नहीं, समाधान की दिशा में ठोस कदम हैं।
