🌏 Applications are now open for the 2026 Indo-Pacific Cooperation Network (IPCN)!

The Australian Institute of International Affairs, in partnership with The Japan Foundation, is inviting early-career professionals from across the hashtag#region to apply for a fully funded year-long program exploring hashtag#resilience in the Indo-Pacific.

The 2026 cohort will take part in three international study tours — to Japan (1–8 March), the South Pacific (Fiji and New Zealand, mid-year), and Australia (November) — engaging with experts, communities, policymakers and practitioners working at the intersection of resilience, regional hashtag#rules, and cross-border cooperation.

Throughout the year, participants will:
🔹 Undertake individual and collaborative research projects
🔹 Join masterclasses, roundtables and community visits
🔹 Build meaningful professional hashtag#relationships across the Indo-Pacific
🔹 Publish and present their work
🔹 Gain first-hand insight into how resilience is built and practised across diverse contexts

The program is fully funded, including international travel, accommodation, meals, local transport, and travel insurance while on tour.
If you are an early-career professional passionate about resilience, climate adaptation, disaster management, governance, communication, or community development in the Indo-Pacific, we encourage you to apply.
