@alicrewe This tweet!!๐๐ผ totally agree, since being qualified (2yrs) I have met so many fab (both NQ and senior) therapists that have moved on in the space of 18 months. Our trust have started some work into developing an effective preceptorship programme!
One of those weeks where my best just isnโt good enough. For a small team of 3 to have 36 pts to see EVERYDAY is tough. All complex and all deserve so much more than we can give. A lot forget that we are human too. And breatheeeeeeee!
2/3 She had really struggled orientating herself to the hospital environment due to having Alzheimerโs which began to affect her ability to mobilise and engage with therapists. Finding creative ways to replicate home was difficult on the ward...
