Amazing. Most brands respond within minutes. But it’s crickets from @Porsche. Although that is consistent with the customer service they’ve demonstrated on this issue 😐

Just a heads up to anyone with an @Porsche Cayenne from 2015-2018 - the transfer case has a “known issue” which prompted Porsche to extend the warranty BUT NOT TELL OWNERS ABOUT. So when ours failed right outside the warranty period, @Porsche has refused to help.

So now we are out several thousand for a repair that would have been covered had we known to take the car in just a little earlier. But we didn’t, because @Porsche didn’t tell us. And didn’t recommend some inexpensive early maintenance that could have avoided the issue entirely.

you either don’t properly train your reps on your own policies, or you let them actively mislead grieving travelers into spending more money with you based on false promises. Which is it? And, now that you’ve been called out on Twitter, will you give her the refund?

Hey @AmericanAir, I guess being “here for you” doesn’t include honoring the promises that 3 of your customer service reps made to my grieving mother? She spent $750 to change her vacation return flight to attend her brother’s funeral (who died suddenly); 3 reps promised

and get a credit, and book a cheaper flight home with another airline, She gave YOU an extra $750. Except, of course, after she submitted the refund request (following the instructions she got from your reps) you’ve denied it, saying you don’t offer bereavement fares. So,

@TheJuliaHLee I think you can include older millennials in the demographic that read them. I’m 39 and read the entire series repeatedly as a kid. I appreciate the suggestions in this thread of better books to read now - as much as I loved them as a kid, I won’t be reading LHOTP to my girls
