Wow.. these Arsenal parade scenes are astonishing… hundreds of thousands of fans of all creeds, colours, backgrounds coming together in a joyous outpouring of ecstatic celebration on the streets of North London.
Never seen anything like this in our club’s history. Amazing! ❤️
Arsene Wenger after the game:
We reached the final and gave everything we had, but I cannot help feeling that the game was influenced by more than just the football. There were decisions that went against Arsenal at crucial moments, and from where I stand, two penalty incidents deserved much closer attention, especially the challenge on Saka in the second half.
I am proud of this team. They showed courage, quality, character and the fighting spirit that Arsenal supporters expect. When you lose a Champions League final, it is painful. When key moments leave you with questions, the disappointment is even greater.
Congratulations to PSG on winning the trophy. But I believe Arsenal deserved the opportunity to compete on equal terms until the very end.
To the players: keep your heads high. Great teams are built through moments like this. Use the pain, learn from it, and come back stronger.

On this Africa Day, I celebrate our continent with pride but also deep concern. South Africa must address illegal immigration lawfully & responsibly, but violence and xenophobia against fellow Africans can never be the answer.
I am deeply troubled by how easily we now scream “Abahambe” at fellow Africans.
We cannot build Africa by hating Africans. Let us protect both our sovereignty and our humanity.
Today it is “them.” Tomorrow it may be anyone who is seen as different, unwanted or inconvenient. We cannot build Africa by humiliating Africans.
South Africa must protect its borders without losing its humanity. Africa must stand together against both illegal immigration and xenophobia. 🌍

Super Mik Arteta.. the man who brought the glory back to Arsenal after 22 long and often tortuous years. What an honour to see him with my sons on the day we were crowned Champions.
Thanks @m8arteta 🙏👏
