I was delighted to work on this report with Resilience Rising. The World Risk Poll has useful data that can provide insights into how to reduce risk around the world. Dive in to see the detail!
Coinciding with the below announcement, we're delighted to launch the Global Action Agenda on Risk and Resilience.
The Action Agenda builds on findings from the World Risk Poll, led by @LR_Foundation, to drive risk reduction globally.

Really interesting first day of the systems engineering training with @CSEI_imperial. Made me think about opportunities as well as risks when it comes to flexibility of infrastructure. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
Today we place adaptation and resilience center stage at #COP26.
Tune in to the @copreshub and participate in the Marrakech Partnership session to see how #RacetoResilience partners are building resilience around the world:

Powerful words from @SaleemulHuq at the World Leader Summit at #COP26. All countries must adapt to climate change - it's adapt or die. We all need to #RaceToResilience and support local level adaptors.
@hlcchampions
Fantastic to hear from Dr. Flachsbarth, Co-Chair of @InsuResilience and Parliamentary State Secretary to the @BMZ_Bund at the @copreshub committing ongoing support to evidence-based policy and solutions to strengthen resilience of vulnerable people worldwide #RaceToResilience
It's not just in Texas. Restrictions all across Europe are making it difficult to access abortion - including in the UK. @AbortionSupport are helping people overcome these barriers but they shouldn't be there at all.
Abortion bans are everywhere not just in the state of Texas. I wrote a thing for the Guardian. In this thread are also all the links I wanted to include in the piece.

Great to see more cities coming on board the Race to Resilience campaign. Want to know more about R2R? PPT slides here https://t.co/Ms1I5GQ0V3 @djbh10_david@AineNiB
🌍 To win the #RaceToZero, we need to upgrade our systems. As scary as this sounds, we now know how to do it.
💚 Now, less than 100 days from @COP26, the 2030 Breakthroughs give us even greater clarity of the path to halving emissions by 2030: https://t.co/2Bygf2A9kA
People fleeing war and persecution are being left hungry and homeless when they reach the UK. This must change. I #StandUpForAsylum – will you? https://t.co/fBIwRFf8x2
Interesting event organised by @ResilienceFirst resilience in the rail sector: Nick King from @networkrail spoke about how in future they will rehearse using real life simulations. Currently the focus is on training - need to move to practicing before implementing!
Preparing for extreme events means that we can prepare for more minor disruptions, talking about adaptive capacity e.g. having data&training allows you to respond quickly and move towards recovery - panel of @xavialdea Avi Schnurr (@EISCouncil) &Caroline Field (@resilienceshift)
Interesting morning at the Resilience First breakfast briefing, hearing about National Grid work with Network Rail to build resilience following event last August 9th.
I've been managing this project on behalf of @HighwaysEngland & @NetworkRail on remote sensing for improving operation and maintenance of railway and highways. It's been great to see how both companies are being innovative but by collaborating are doing it cost-effectively.
Hyperspectral sensors can assess the condition of ground around our network and detect issues before they can be seen by human eyes.
Working with @NetworkRail, we're using this technology to plan our maintenance more efficiently and keep you moving.
