After waiting over a decade for specific dresses and items I will gladly splurge unreasonable amounts on outstanding dream dresses. Especially as time passes they become rarer to show up for sale and the condition of aging items will only worsen with time, so my standards and expectations lower. It's a notion of "buy now or never".
🥺 Also current releases don't suit my taste as much, so I can easily allocate any savings I'd have from multiple new dresses into one ridiculous priced purchase here and there.
