Finished 007 First Light gave it an 8/10. Was a great game and my first IOI game. Had a lot more stealth than i anticipated but i liked the pacing with the action sequences. Vietnam was the best part of the game and I think the last few chapters were relatively weak. Wish the driving sequences were more engaging rather than just being a vehicle to deliver the story. Never played a hitman game so excited to go back and play those!

Onimusha demo was sick but im hoping there's a harder difficulty like in resi or pragmata. Pipe dream but would be insane if there was a way to just turn up overall gamespeed by 50%.

Onimusha demo was fun, much more enjoyable than the playable from 8 months ago. Game seems hyper focused on parrying/countering, with the coolest animations. It's sick. The issue...is that 99% of enemies that aren't bosses, they just don't attack very much. ENGAGE ME BROTHER!

Here’s my thoughts on The Witcher 3’s “Songs of the Past” Expansion and what it means for the franchise:

- Geralt is carrying 3 swords, signifying this is the third expansion

- The sword Geralt is carrying is 100% Ciri’s new sword, as seen in The Witcher 4’s trailer, an identical model. Confirming she plays a major role in this.

- The mummified tree man could be a major character, he seems to have branches that are styled shackles attached to him

- The title “Songs of the Past” to me implies a connection to something from either Geralt or Ciri’s past, coming back to haunt them in some way?

- CDPR has raised the minimum system requirements for this expansion and mentioned engine updates, so its likely we’ll see a graphical bump with this DLC.

- The game’s storage requirement went up from 50GB to 70GB, meaning the new content will take up 20GB. This is not a small DLC in any way.

- I do think that Geralt carrying Ciri’s sword signifies that she obviously plays a huge role in this DLC, maybe Geralt is looking for her in this new place that is ruled by the man shackled by the trees. Someone tied to Geralt or Ciri’s past, or both of them.

- It’s safe to assume this directly leads into Witcher 4, so we could see why or how Ciri decided to become a Witcher by taking the mutations, it’s also very likely going to be used as a way to explain how each ending’s Ciri gets to that Witcher 4 entry point, without needing to carry over your choices through a save into TW4

- This will likely be the final time we play as Geralt of Rivia in a Witcher game, so let’s enjoy it while it lasts!

- It’s not coming to the Nintendo Switch, making a new TW3 Switch 2 port very likely coming at some point

Songs of the Past is a new gen exclusive expansion, it will take advantage of a lot of new tech for sure and feel much more technically advanced than anything from the base game. They confirmed we’ll see more of it in the summer ahead of the 2027 release which is hopefully early in the year. Let me know your own thoughts in the replies, I wanna know what your ideas are too!
