@poiyomi I've noticed that the blue "loading avatar" avatar is rendered behind world meshes in the mirror, if there is a realtime directional light with shadows enabled. Super weird.

You can only see it against the skybox then.

5 Animator Layers, each with a simple toggle on/off cost me ~0.16ms on Animators.Update

Those 5 Toggles combined in one Layer with a Direct Blend tree cost me ~0.12ms on Animators.Update
