For the very first time, Team Nigeria has won a Gold Award in the Middle School Group Category at the 2026 Spelling Bee World Cup in Shanghai, China!

This is a landmark achievement for Nigerian education and literacy, and one that deserves to be celebrated across the nation.

Congratulations to our exceptional young champions:
