What should have been a simple oil chamber replacement has become a 26-day nightmare. My car remains idle, engine seized and the service center offers no answers.

Timeline:

1 Aug: Hit pothole → oil chamber damaged, oil leaked. No “low oil” alert on the vehicle's dashboard. Learned only from a passerby. Car was still running but I got it towed to Dee EMM Mahindra's service center in Sec-16, Gurgaon.

2 Aug: Told parts would take 10-15 days (to be ordered from Pune).

8 Aug: Despite my instructions on not to start the engine due to lack of engine oil, repeated engine start/stop alerts were received on the app Adrenox . Raised on service WhatsApp group (created by the service center), all went unanswered (SS attached)

10 Aug: Still no parts. No response on why vehicle was being driven (SS attached).

11 Aug: More alerts (seatbelt unbuckled, door open). App showed car was moved. Raised again. No reply (SS attached).

13 Aug: I was informed that engine had seized; surveyor approval needed to dismantle.

27 Aug: Engine still not dismantled. Car standing idle.

My pain:

1. I never received a “low engine oil” alert, so there was no way to know the oil chamber was damaged. I only got to know about the leak when a passerby told me.

2. After handing the car over, it was repeatedly started and even driven as per the info show on "ADRENOX". The engine seizure is a direct result of mishandling by the service center.

👉 I cannot accept a repaired engine. I request a full engine replacement.
