@nutritioncup I think the most ridiculous thing about the concept of "God promised it to us years ago!" is ignoring the fact that IN THE VERY BOOK AND TEACHINGS: They screwed up SO BAD that God said "Ok nvm. All of you: OUT!"
They broke their end of the promise. It ain't their land anymore.
@Z3RO_GRAVITY_ Goku is creative with his ki... When he thinks about it. Which is rare.
At first we could easily blame Toriyama for being forgetful. But it has happened enough times throughout the series that we gotta say it's canon that Goku is forgetful.
@Anchovy_Pizza 3) If the artist actually released it within the expected time...
I've hired artists. Voice actors too.
Working with them isn't always easy.
Still thankful for their work. Would hire again, if I had the money.
@Anchovy_Pizza I'd pay an artist if
1) I had the spare money... Honestly, it's mostly going to bills and groceries
2) The idea was genuinely good enough to put on a wall. But most of the ideas are throwaway stupid ones that I want AT THE HIGHEST QUALITY POSSIBLE just for the laugh
@LocalBateman It's not that we don't care about 60+ fps, it's that we care that the frame rate stays consistent.
When your eyes have gotten used to 120+ fps, you stop noticing the glamour of it. But once it hiccups at 100 fps, your eyes notice and immersion breaks. Same with 30 fps.
@j_stocky Mostly because their moves and cards are actually rather boring... Don't get me wrong, there's standouts. But if I have to see another one with the same 12 moves available with only 2 interesting moves, I'm crawling back on land.
@OfAthenry "You can't be a luddite forever -"
*Shows a problem that literally can't happen to a luddite*
It wouldn't even work on a half-luddite. Half-luddites have EVERYTHING WIRED. No Wi-Fi. And they wouldn't touch smart appliances with a 100 ft pole.
@SCCTradingCards Not entering. Already sniped mine before scalpers could get to it. Just praying that a fan that genuinely plays/collects this as a dear hobby wins this
@gelbfur 3) Artists need to realize that AI is a great tool.
It genuinely is.
And...
4) Artists need to accept that AI art is harmless (if consented), since it's MOSTLY used to create artworks that no one EVER commissions for.
@gelbfur 1) Artists should be able to consent/restrict their art for AI learning. Reward for consent is small pay and/or credit for collaboration.
2) Isolated AI works (no human effort) should never make profit, unless giving larger pay to said artists.
3) ...
@_wedds I'm sorry, but... They ain't charging $40 for that.
That's MINIMUM $60. Expect it to be $80.
If they're the type that accepts commissions but don't give them until a year later: That's $110.
Oh, and don't forget the tip.
@NerdiestNic The stupidest thing about that backlash was: how far it was...
1. Originally it was set off by a Japanese fan sharing a picture of Miyamoto and Iwata Miis marrying... But all they did was just have a female dress as a male and cut it in for the meme...
@NerdiestNic 4. They then bombard Nintendo with these accusations, leading to Nintendo having to make a statement that basically says "yeah it doesn't have it. But we'll consider your backlash for any future installments". They treat this as LGBTQ hate and yell about it for the next few years
