LinkedIn auth headaches? Fixed.
Scoped LinkedIn OAuth to standard permissions. Added a 'Coming Soon' badge for LinkedIn Pages. Also streamlined company page connection and refetching. MCP server is live now too. Getting those permissions right was rough.
What's your biggest OAuth blocker?

Whatβs the best AI coding subscription under $20 right now?
Most people look at raw API prices, but subscription models subsidize token costs in completely different ways.
Key Takeaways: β’ Token subsidization makes $20/mo subscriptions significantly cheaper than raw API calls for heavy users β’ The competition among coding assistants (Cursor, Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) is driving aggressive pricing wars β’ The bottleneck is no longer costβitβs model intelligence and context window reliability

Day 12: GitShout AI knows your brand before it writes.
It uses your project description and brand context to nail the tone.
No more generic posts. It understands your target audience and problems.
What's the hardest part of building in public for you?

Day 12: Still hunting for beta testers.
Today's focus: refining how GitShout turns raw commits into polished social posts.
It's easy to get lost building features. The real win? Solving a problem.
Instead of saying 'GitShout automates content', we're focusing on how it stops you from wasting hours crafting tweets about your code.
What's the biggest content hurdle for you?

Day 11: Voice notes = better posts.
Spent today watching how builders use GitShout. Turns out, talking your updates into a voice note creates way more authentic social posts than typing them out. The raw energy comes through.
Should I build a voice-first input flow next?

Day 10: GitShout adds a safety scanner.
Building in public means showing your work. But you don't want your brand looking weird on social media.
Today we shipped a safety scanner. If the content generator outputs anything off-brand or just plain odd, it pauses. You get a chance to review it before it goes live.
Keeps your feed clean. Keeps your reputation intact.
Still looking for beta testers who want to automate their build in public content.
Who wants to try it out?

Day 10: Still hunting for GitShout testers!
GitShout turns your commits and voice notes into brand-accurate social posts. Automating your 'build in public' journey is the goal. This morning, I tweaked the content generation engine again. Itβs getting better at mimicking specific brand tones. Still needs refinement, but seeing progress. More work on the onboarding flow today, too. Trying to make it dead simple for new users.
