BREAKING: WATER WORLD EVACUATED, PARK CLOSED AFTER POTENTIAL THREAT

Federal Heights Police are responding to a reported potential threat at Water World, prompting the evacuation of the park and its closure for the remainder of Saturday.

Authorities confirmed that all guests are being told to leave the grounds immediately. Water World also confirmed that an emergency prompted the evacuation.

Police said there is a heavy law enforcement presence in the area and are urging the public to avoid the area while the investigation continues.

A reunification point has been established at Camenisch Park for parents and families.

Officials have not released additional information about the nature of the reported threat.
